I came across a good news article that explains why we did not succeed with the 2024 bid. One of the reasons why the Olympic Committee turned down San Diego's bid for 2024 is because we do not have an offical olympic venue being built. They listed several other reasons in the article, but now we now know what needs to be accomplished to host the 2028 or 2032 Summer Olympics. I think San Diego is the perfect place for the Olympics and we should be able to handle the games with little difficulty assuming we improve our infrastructure. That being said, I'll be contacting the San Diego Olympic Committee to share with them my Phase 4 Concept Plan. I'll be posting more information regarding the Olympic bid / process when I get it.
